Socket received the Good Neighbor Award from Red Cross

COLUMBIA, MO– The Boone County chapter of the American Red Cross recently presented Socket Internet with the Good Neighbor Award. The Good Neighbor Award is presented to an individual and/or organization outside the American Red Cross for having made a significant humanitarian contribution to the chapter.

“Socket's contribution of high-speed Internet access and Web hosting has a significant impact on the daily operations of the Boone County chapter. Being able to send and receive e-mail messages to keep in contact with many organizations, other Red Cross chapters, and our national headquarters is a big part of how we operate. Without e-mail access and our online web site, we couldn't get our jobs done and be there to help people in need!" stated Jutta Hopkins, the Executive Director of the American Red Cross Boone County Chapter.
